Each year in accordance with Dr. Brown's wishes, a committee plans lectures and seminars in his field of ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology. This year's speaker is Dr. James A. Katowitz. He is the Director of Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
This half-day meeting is comprised of an afternoon session and an evening session. The afternoon begins with a mini-live grand rounds. Three to four interesting patients will be presented. Next, Dr. Katowitz will speak about craniofacial malformations to conclude the afternoon portion. The evening session will include a presentation about balancing function and appearance from the perspective of an oculofacial plastic surgeon.
