"Superior Oblique Apocrypha"
This lecture will discuss the rationality of various superior oblique strengthening procedures in the context of superior oblique muscle mechanics, physiology and clinical experience.


Dr. Archer is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismologist who has worked at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center for 33 years. He is a member of the American Academy for Ophthalmology, American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Ophthalmological Society and Squint Club and sits on the American Orthoptic Council. Dr. Archer has been a Scobee lecturer and Costenbader lecturer and has special interests in infant visual development, physiological optics and complicated adult strabismus.
