AAPOS will present the 5th Annual Kushner webinar on January 25, 2020. The symposium, titled “Strabismus after Trauma” will take a comprehensive look at post-traumatic nerve palsies and mechanical traumatic strabismus from an international panel of experienced strabismologists. Dr. Andrea Molinari will present the 5th Kushner lecture and will be joined by an all-star supporting cast including Drs. Rosario Gomez de Liaño, Mauro Goldchmit and David Plager. The Kushner Medal & Lecture
The Kushner Medal and Lecture was established by the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS) at the University of Wisconsin (UW), Madison, to honor Dr. Burt Kushner. An outstanding pediatric ophthalmologist or strabismologist will be selected each year to be the Kushner Medalist and Lecturer by a committee made up of members of the DOVS Pediatric Ophthalmology Service, and a representative of the AAPOS Board of Directors.
